The Breakdown: 1. Presentation - The presentation of your work is almost as important as the work itself. This is artwork and so I don't mind waiting a little bit for it to download. Within reason. I do not want to wait for 5 minutes because you put all 10 pieces of your work on one page. Use thumbnails that link to a separate page or pop up window instead. Keep the dimensions of the image workable on the internet - I don't want to scroll to see the whole image, that takes away from the art. Watch your background with your artwork also- I want to see the art, not the background. There should also be a page on your site that tells your visitors a little bit about yourself and your artwork. 2. Type
of Artwork - I will look at
any kind of art form in any medium, except hard core pornography or
graphic images of people in physical pain, dead or dying. 3. Preferences - I tend to gravitate towards extremely detailed works with lots of depth and different perspectives. Realistic and Surrealistic works are probably what capture my attention the most - but not always. I love art - I love creativity. If you are creative - I will notice. I hope this information was
helpful. If you feel your site falls under the criteria
I have set here, please use the link below to apply for EyeOn Design
