Artistic Website Design & Graphic Art by LorriLee - Tutorials - Glow Text

The first thing you do is create a new file with whatever dimensions you like. I made mine 400 x 100. Set the resolution at 72 dpi and give it a white background.
Save your new file.
(it is better to save it as a .cpt as it can be modified over and over again and when you want to make it into a another file type you can export it).

Step 1

Select your Text tool and choose a font. I chose Bauhaus Hv Bt. The fatter the font the better the effect. Make sure your Render to Object button is selected. Choose Black for your font color. Set the font size to 72 and type a word. Once done click the object picker tool and go to the next step.
